A fiery hot cookout adds spice to life.
There is a lot more to hot spicy cooking than topping up on the Tabasco however. In local cuisine, it’s a fine balance of chilli galore – fresh, dried or powdered, even chilli padi or sambal. For the Japanese, it’s the wasabi; for Sichuan Chinese, there’s the chilli oil and peppercorns.
Further afield, Cajun, Creole and Mexican dishes use blends made from cayenne, paprika, and peppers like habanero and jalapeno.
So take up the Drool challenge to turn up the heat and set our tongues on fire!
