Christina started cooking at a very young age.  With both her parents busy providing for the family, the responsibility of cooking dinner was entrusted to her.  By the age of 10, Christina has mastered the art of making rice dumplings (ba zhang).  She enjoys baking festive treats like Pineapple Tarts using only homemade pineapple jam, Peanut Cookies, and many more.  She has been making these festive treats every year which her family and friends would look forward to.

Christina is very versatile in the type of cuisine she cooks and her secret recipe is no recipe!  She doesn’t work with exact measures when it comes to cooking, it’s all about taste and feel.  She hosts dinner parties very often and challenges herself in the kitchen by improving on techniques and taste.  When it comes to trying new recipes, all she need is a recipe and she can whip up almost anything! As her daughter is gluten intolerant, she has started creating gluten-free bakes to cater to her daughter’s special dietary needs.

Her specialty would be authentic Persian cuisine, comparable to fine-dining in a Persian restaurant.  Some of these dishes were learnt through her many visits to Iran, plus her constant quest to satisfy the taste-buds of her Iranian partner of 16 years, also her biggest critic!
