I'm a Nigerian from Delta State in Nigeria. A lawyer by profession, food has always been my passion. I discovered my love for cooking when I was about 9 years old. Right now, I cook mostly for my husband, family and friends.

I was always in the kitchen with my mum watching her cook and learning in the process. Right now, I cook mostly for my husband, family and friends. I love treating them to sumptuous dishes.

My philosophy when it comes to food is that food should never be bland or boring. There should always be a mix of textures and colours to excite the taste buds and the eyes. I get inspired to make a dish from new meals I eat in a restaurant or watch on television and then I try to recreate the dish. I also imagine ingredients that I could add to make an otherwise common dish taste or look different, and then I get on with it.

My favourite food is anything Chinese. I love Chinese food cos it’s always super tasty and easy to make. While I love to eat Chinese, the dish that I enjoy cooking most is okra soup because it’s easy and versatile. I enjoy cooking African and Asian cuisines.

One way I hone my cooking skill is by reading food blogs and cookery books as well as watching YouTube channels. An ingredient that I cannot do without when cooking is onions while a kitchen equipment that I absolutely must have is my wooden cooking spoon.

I am not quite sure of the exact last dish that I want to eat before I kick the bucket but I do know that I would like it to be a Chinese dish.
