If you are as crazy as us here at Drool, you would have enjoyed exploring the artisanal food markets all across Europe, when you get the chance. We visited the La Boqueria market while we were in Barcelona recently and we just went beserk with the variety of cheeses and chatcuterie selection. Manchego, Cabrales, Garrotxa, Cantabrian cream cheese….the list goes on!! My travel companion and I spent a lot of time there tasting the wide selection that was unique to that region. But sadly, we can’t bring them all back.
The good news is that come mid November, the Centre National Interprofessionnel de l’Economie Laitiere (CNIEL) with the support of the European Union, will be bringing the world of European cheese to us here in Singapore! If you enjoy cheese like we do, you will be as excited as when we got news about this!
Be treated to a 2-day pop-up cheese bar across two locations on 17 and 18 November 2017. These pop-up cheese bar offers a selection of delicious cheese treats created using European cheeses. Some of these canapes especially created for sampling includes Brie Stuffed with Mushroom Duxelles; Shredded Cheese with Dried Apple and Hazelnut Praline; Blue cheese with Poached Pear and Strawberry Gel – all these treats including cheese samples plus take-home recipe booklets will be complimentary while stocks last!
